Rappelz might seem like one of the many MMORPGs that exist at the moment but the truth is that there are many things that can be said about the game. The first thing that comes to mind is the back-story. Although the plot is not really incredible, there are many things that you are going to learn on your quests. Unfortunately most of this story is linked with the training island that you start the game on. After that everything revolves around you and becoming as good as you can.
The truth is that there is one huge problem that might be too much for some possible gamers. In this game you will need to work a lot and some might give up. Remember that this is a game that has you do a lot of work if you want to become better. However, there is one feature that might keep you occupied: the pet system. This is something unique in the sense that there is no other game that has such depth when referring to the pets that are used.
Rappelz appears as an option for people that simply do not want to play World of Warcraft or they want to play a game that is free. As the game progresses you will be able to specialize yourself into a class and eventually compete with all the other people. You might end up getting killed by strong players as you move around but you will do the same thing to others too eventually. Characters are well built and they are balanced. There will be some time that is needed in order to learn every skill that you have and how to properly use them.
The bottom line is that if you like complicated games we are sure that you are going to love Rappelz. It is highly addictive once you give it a chance and you manage to understand how everything works. Taming pets can be a great bonus for most people. Some of the pets are really hard to tame and once you do the bragging rights are all yours. Our recommendation is to make sure that you give Rappelz a try even if you are a WOW fan. Sometimes we need diversity and this is definitely a game that offers something else. It is different than most MMORPGs and this is in itself a good reason why you might want to give it a try.
