Museum

I went to visit the Gallo-Roman bath at
the Middle Age Museum of Cluny in Paris
At this time, Lutèce ( Paris) was a little city with only 10000 residents.
After the victory agaisnt Vercingetorix at Alésia,
the romans repent their culture,
and the most significant is the public baths.

There were 3 bathouses at Lutèce.
All were free, so everybody was able to go there.
We can notice that the most health and epidemic problems were
during the 17th, 18th and 19th century ( for London especially)
after the epidemic of the"dark plague",
people though it was because of the water....

Well, first the cloakroom, to let the clothes,
you could paye a slave to look after your clothes.

After, a bit of sport to sweat.
On the body was applied olive oil, then the sweat and
the impurities from the skin was retain and eliminate
thanks to a Strigil.

Now direction to the Frigidarium,
cald room and water,
here was the "natio" a swimmingpool ... To swim.
[Frigidarium]

After teh frigidarium you can go to the "Trepidarium", room with warm water,
or like at cluny, in little bats go directly to the Caldarium, the hot room water.

 [caldarium at Cluny]

The public baths was a meeting place,
we spoke buisness, last gossip new, etc etc.

There was an expo about Art of Slovenia in the middle age:

 Sorry fo the bad quality ;_;

My fav' room of the museum,
the one with the stained glass ~

Actually I've been crying silently behind all my smiles,
Because I'm already too hurt, I lost my feeling already
I hope no...

Too Numb for Pain

The lover

Since a few days, I think about Viet Nâm a lot.
Because I listen again and again this song: Khong dau vi qua dau

[With english Subtitles]

I never thought I could identify with this song,
During my stay at Saigon, I have been enchanted by the melody,
now by the lirycs.

Maybe I sould go back in the past and never write some words...

So, it makes me think about a Novel/movie,
I discovered the same year, almost 4 ago now,

L'amant ( The lover) by Marguerite Duras.

It's a french girl born at Saigon in 1914.
Her novel "The lover" is a part of her life, her first love.
M.Duras's writings are complex, she wrote 2 rewriting of this story... You can imagine ._.
Without telling all details, she meets a chinese man going to school.
She is poor, he is rich, they become lovers.
Neither she nor him will say "I love you", all both know it's impossible,
The Lover must get married with a rich chinese girl, so his father is totally against him and "the poor" french.
The Lover will help M.Duras, wipe out the debts of the family and give her money to go back to Paris.

He will call her, many years after to congratulate her for her literary success.

I don't really like the M.Duras way to write, but the story itself touched me a lot when I read it.
It is a story of initiation, she is a child at the begining of the novel, she go back in France as a woman.
At this time a relationship between an asian and a werstern is totally rejected, she must face to many things, ideas, persons, ...

M.Duras, didnt appreciate the movie, because ut only relates a story of a girl who has family difficultied and who find a rich chinese lover, she doesnt see the message she wanted to spend in her novel.

Well now ...Makes me think a bit about my situation,
by the begining, similar origins and place, difficulties,
But I don't know the end ...

Holidays

I wanted to write something before but I was too much stunned because of meds. Huu~

I just finished a part of the homeworks, we made a file about Suit in group:
History, photos,drawings, fabrics ...
After holidays we will start our personal Suit project =_=.
DONE ><

Last friday, I made my nails in anticiaption of the next
Tokyo Decadance, the October,30ty 2010.
I didnt use tips this time, but the last day I broke my nails at school... T_T
So it's short and not that beautiful actually.
Anyway; I won't do it any months because,
what you put on your nails it's like if you ingest it.
Of course, it's slower than if you ingest polish nails directly x)
but when I smell the products I use for nails:
polish nails, UV gel, acrylic .... OMG !
Do it every months could be dangerous for health in the future.
Nobody  said, yet, it can be dangerous, because we don't have the necessary back for the moment,
but I prefer to be careful,
and if once I must remove my nail art because one is damaged, but not time to do a new one,
I don't want horrible natural nails ._.
After a while, with UVgel, nails are really damaged and brittle.
So, please gals, be careful with it ._.

Yesterday I watched a TV documentary about the new trend in "vogue":
The Burlesque,
 and there was
a Dita Von Teese interview ~ <3
She says:
"Everybody can be glamour"

Yes but ... No.
I don't really agree.
I saw on web, some gals who likes
pin-up style and admirate Dita,
trying to be elegant with the Dita's provocative touch,
ultimately they are just vulgar,
and this, in the negative sense.

By the way,
makes me think about the gyaru
and espacially in Aghea.

[The October issue; but not the most interesting]
They are provocative but with a "doll" side,
some with a "female child" part.
For me, it's more rich, colorfull and interesting than
our fashion bitchies in France and espacially in Paris.
They are provocative and vulgar.
The fashion could be more elegant,
pin-up and lolita are fashion...
Why the most of the gals, who fallow the fashion
are so tastless?!

Few days ago I finally received what darling sent me,
cute presents from China.
Tss ... Between strikes ( yes ... not finish XD) and the stupid post service,
I guess next time it will be better if I go to get it by myself.
Even with EMS service they are not able to tell you your package is here.
We paye more for what then ? -_-"
